Tiscali plugs gap in Internet speed offers

Freeserve, Britain's largest ISP owned by France's Wanadoo, announced on Friday that it would offer 512k for 20 pounds monthly for the first six months to people who buy computers from top computer retailer PC World.

The offer, in a partnership with PC World owner Dixons, will end after six months and the price will revert to 30 pounds, Freeserve said in a statement. "
