An examination of other typefaces for the header. These are quickly done, with only a little attention given to the finer points of spacing and kerning.

It is thought that the typeface used in the last visuals is too loose. A little too untidy.
Funny, when the name of this typeface gives it all away: Anarchistic

1. Park Avenue
A dancing script face. The 'K' is particularly lively, with arms and running legs.
A good choice, IMHO.
|
2. Kolo
Too Nineteen twenties.
Not suitable.
|
3. Garamond bold italic
Staid and very readable. Softer and more cursive than the Century below.
|
4. French
Indian looking script. OK it's French, but it reminds me of Indian handwritten scripts.
If it weren't so fancy, so formal, it would win my vote. It is good though.
|
5. Freestyle
Too tall, too thin.
|
6. Century bold italic
Boring but workable. Certainly very readable
|
7. Bradley
Too skinny
|
8. Bermuda
Reads better in correct size. Perhaps too fancy. Certainly doesn't look so good shrunk down.
|
9. Ball Park
Happy, normal. Bold, fat even. This is also one of my favourites. The'K' is ink blobby in its copperplate bold.
Yip! This IS my favorite.
