Esme's much more excited about snow

I have to tramp up in the snow, again. I did it in the morning, crisp crunchy from the surprise the night before. Then just lunch time we had some rain which melted it all away. All forgotten. Just before I have to pick her up it blankets the gig! Typicial.

I arrive two minutes late. Esme's held back by the teacher, and is agog through the glass door. Out she pops, first thing to do, is get some before it goes away again.

Sweeping her arms out to gather as much as she can.

Big bundles she'd try to pick up.

Gathering it in a snow ball as she goes.

running off into the blizzard

Off running to see where it's deepest.

Screams, squawks as children all over the play ground go nuts, as parents try to hurry them home for none of us are prepared for all this, and it's still coming down.

esmes pretty excited Id say

Wonderful. A moment like this, once a week and one can live forever.
