"Here is the answer. As soon as you get out of the Mystic you remove the hair bonnet and wipe the barrier cream from your hands and feet. Then you grab the towel and wipe off all of the excess spray from your body. You wipe down just like you would had you just gotten out of the shower. My wife and employees do it from the feet up, they say it keeps them from getting streaks. I never streak so I start at the head and work down. Rub down hard, do not pat dry. Do it just like drying from a shower. All you are removing is the excess, it has no effect at all on the color of the tan you will get from the Mystic. If you leave any excess solution on your body you will get marks on your clothes which will wipe off but look stupid if you are going back to work. "

"I started out pale and applied the mixture daily for about 5 days. Then I dropped down to applying every other day or every 2 days. You only got to do it daily when you first start out. Once you get the desired darkness, then you can drop down to every couple of days. As your dead skin cells naturally flake and shed you are replacing your tan with new layer of diluted ST. Therefore your tan is constantly turning over, refreshing itself. You never really go back to being pale."
