"A source familiar with the company said another 1,000 jobs could go by the end of next year, reducing the work force to about 8,000.
Asked about this, managing director Charles Burdick said: "There are no specific cuts planned. (But) through attrition, working smarter, focusing on costs ... we will have a smaller workforce next year."
